I don't get the bad reviews on this movie. There's a couple scenes that really take away from the enjoyment of the film, I guess (what is up with the scene with Santa Claus or whatever? stupid.
) Otherwise... some really great, quiet scenes about a young guy in a realistically sad situation. The scene where he is talking to the answering machine, the scene with the addict in the bathtub... beautiful.
