I thought this was super cute; not sure why the audience didn't like it. it's totally a family friendly film with a good spooky story & a few jokes thrown in to keep it light. plus who doesn't love Jack Black & Cate Blanchett? Cate Blanchett did a really great job; although she always does.
gave me 80's "goosebumps" vibes.
