Review of The House That Jack Built (2018) by Kevin P — 14 Dec 2018
Lars Von Trier pulls no punches by exploring the ideology and philosophy of a deranged psychopath, by showing how in the mind of one everything plays differently than most people would imagine it. It goes much deeper than that with Von Trier, even showing his dark comedic side in scenes in which slapstick gets pushed into the most disturbing hilarious way possible.
The House That Jack Built is almost a experiment that should be judged by everyone in their own merit, and discussed divisively.
