This movie is a work of art. This movie is so realistic when it comes to psychological human behaviour, how we evolved from animals and became human, and the more human we became the less we cares about people. This movie was too honest, too smart and too realistic for people.

It is very brutal and extremely cruel (especially killing kids and making statues out of them onscreen! Yet, there is a point Lars Von Trier is trying to make here, and the point is no one cares about you. He picked the perfect time to bring this film out, because it's so true to life. He also doesn't care about the #metoo movement as there are plenty of scenes in this film that are giving the finger to them and saying "men have animal instincts, protest as much as you want, you will never win. ".

Matt Dillon is brilliant here as Jack. He's scary and funny at the same time! He was interviewed about this film recently and he does not regret being in this movie. He claims it's one of the best career moves he ever did. And he is 100% right! Sadly the movie is too honest to get an Oscar, but if the Oscar's had a brain they would be nominating Matt Dillon as he was fantastic!

Loved this film, and so glad it was made.
