Review of The House That Dripped Blood (1971) by Blais E — 04 Dec 2010
Marvelous British horror-anthology movie, with a stellar cast, including horror icons Peter Cushing and Christopher Lee (However in different stories-) and produced by Amicus, one of Hammer Studios' competitors.
Pretty much a lighter and tamer version of their very similar films, "Tales From the Crypt" and "The Vault of Horror", with the final story in particular, being the most enjoyable--a comedically high-camp account of what happens to a hammy horror actor ("Doctor Who"'s Jon Pertwee-) after he buys and wears a cape worn by an actual vampire (You can probably fill in the rest!).
