Review of The House on Sorority Row (1982) by Joe A — 02 Jan 2011
Classic 80's horror flick is a fun nostalgic blast and a perfect example of the cheesy low budget slasher flicks of the time. By today's horror standards it's tame and silly but it brings me back to the glory days of the Oritani grindhouse theatre in Hackensack, N.
J. where my friends and I saw stuff like this every weekend. Best part is late in the film when a drugged co-ed has some hilariously bizarre hallucinations. Fun, especially if you're a fan of genre flicks of this era!
