Review of The House on Sorority Row (1982) by Chris B — 29 Sep 2007
Very bad slasher film, people call this a cult classic how could you? the plot was ok ,but in the long run it ended up being very lame and boring. the acting was terrible as it usually is in all horror films.
however, with a decent plot you'd think they would build off of that to make an amazing horror picture. they didn't, they wasted 90 minutes and made another flop. the only good thing I can think of this film, is that it had the similarity and reminded me of friday the 13th, it had an atmosphere of that kind of film.
probably because of all the nudity and the killer sneaking up on them to kill them, just like jason did in the first one. and the killer wasn't revealed until the end, with a woman being the killer, just like in friday the 13th.
almost a rip off of a classic. and with the ending, did they make a second one? I can't find it.
