Review of The House of Yes (1997) by Sushil D — 07 Feb 2008
I loved the wacky, twisted characters in this movie, but for all the talk I hear about the dialogue being so great, I just don't see it. It seemed unnatural, forced, and stage-y.The actors were all solid, but Parker Posey was fantastic.
It was a good dark comedy, but nothing amazing, and if you don't like being uncomfortable while watching a movie, take a pass on this one. Incest isn't for everybody.
