Pretty good, considering to make a full length Stephen King style adaptation of Isabel Allende's novel would make the movie 7 hours long they did a half-decent adaptation, although they completely cut out a generation and they almost totally bury the political context of the original just like they did with Evita.
Oh well...what else do you expect?
