The House of The Devil is a surprisingly well-made 70's looking film. Like the movies that came before it long ago, it takes it sweet time to build-up a sense of dread and danger. While the ending might leave more to be desired, This film gets extra-points for it's style and the amazing Jocelin Donahue.
The House of the Devil is a slow burn ride filled with satanic dread and danger.
