Review of The House of the Devil (2009) by Jack P — 18 Jan 2011

If you were to watch this movie you wouldn't believe it was made it 2009. This film pays enough homage to 80's horror that I felt like I was watching a lost gem from that decade. Everything is retrofit to the 80's horror film including; clothing, lighting, acting, even the cameras used and the way the movie was filmed made me believe it could be the real deal.

As far as a standard movie in concerned, it lacks in plot but luckily doesn't ruin the film. It's a great throwback for all you horror fans of the 80's.
