The House Of The Devil is a wonderful throwback to the horror films of the late 70's and early 80's. It's a terrifically creepy slow-burn horror film that is superbly acted, genuinely suspenseful, and disturbing film that will make your skin crawl.
It may not present any new ideas, but it is a superb homage that works extremely well.
