Review of The House of the Devil (2009) by Cody L — 10 Jul 2013

Don't expect anything new - just a wickedly well-done homage to 80s horror films that's ironically a hell of a lot better than any of the movies that inspired it. Patient horror fans and film students will eat up the stylish cinematography and steady building of dread, but just about everybody should be able to appreciate the final act that just starts happening and won't stop happening until you beg it to stop.

Expect to at least sit stunned for the last 20 minutes, unable to move.
