Review of The House of the Devil (2009) by John C — 18 Jul 2013

Overly long first and second act leads to a fairly cartoonish third act. There was the germ of a good story and idea here, but the execution failed to deliver due primarily to bad direction. There is a nice old-school feel to the film, plot, and acting, though, that is kind of nice.

Not enough to recommend the film, however. (V).
