Review of The House of the Devil (2009) by Kellen V — 02 Jun 2010

A refreshing reminder of what we once loved... And for one major benefit no wobbly camera effect. The film was quite suspenseful and to me was very reminiscent of the effect Alfred Hitchcock used within his pictures.

.. It did achieve it's purpose of recreating the 80's horror film feel, no back and forth stuff, just a straightforward easy watch film. Although the ending was a little off it's still well worth the watch!
