This movie is fantastic. It's shot in a very 1970s kind of style (which is when it takes place) and while it is a fairly standard horror movie, it doesn't go for cheap scares for the most part.
It doesn't conform to most cliches of a horror movie- that dark basement? What's down there? Nope. Don't care. And then she goes to another room and plays billiards/pool. The twist of the movie also isn't corny.
There are a decent amount of subtleties that even make it worth watching again. Mega awesome.
