Oh boy, did Gillian Anderson make this movie work! I'm not even much of a fan of realism and I didn't really feel for Lily while reading the book, but Anderson's portrayal made my little heart ;) ache for Lily...
Oh and it's always fascinated me how easily you can create sexual tension between two characters just by having one light the other's cigarette...
