By far THE best documentary/essay film I have seen this year. With Why We Fight, Eugene Jareki looked at social impacts of the Congressional Military Industrial Complex. He does the same with the Prison-Industrial complex and the War on Drugs.

Well done and measured, it does not pull its punches, especially David Simon's (The Wire, Homicide: Life on the Street, former Baltimore Sun reporter) comments.
