Review of The House Bunny (2008) by Glory-Beth S — 05 Feb 2010
A film I never tire of watching!!! I've seen this film so many times i've lost count!!! I love it!!! It's so funny from beginning to end and has really likeable characters, especially Carrie Mae, who is just my favorite!!! Shelley really helps all the girls of Zeta become popular, be better people and learn valuable lessons in life, while also learning some of her own along the way!!!
One of the funniest films i've ever seen!!!
The best lines (in no particular order):
Shelley: "Sweet balls!" (i now say this ALOT myself!).
Shelley: "My heart is pounding like a nail!".
Carrie Mae: "The only magic I ever did was try to figure out how to stay in college for nine years and not go back to my trailer park in Idaho.".
Shelley: "The eyes are the nipples of the face.".
Mrs. Hagstrom: [about the college] "This is not a brothel.".
Shelley: "Oh, I'm not looking to make soup.".
Shelley: "That's it. Oh my gosh. We have to have an Aztec party. We always wanted to have one at the mansion but we could never find a virgin to sacrifice.".
The best line of the film and my ultimate favorite:
(Carrie Mae tries to impress two guys).
Carrie Mae: "Do you guys know where the crapper is? I have to drop some timber.".
(She fails. Shelley sends her back to try again, telling her to be more mysterious).
Carrie Mae: "Do you guys know where the crapper is? I have to do a "very mysterious" thing in there...".
[whispers].
Carrie Mae: "Drop some timber.".
Those "timber" lines make me laugh all the time, even now just thinking about them!!!
My Actor/Actress review:
The entire cast - I LOVE THEM!!! They are all so funny, especially Anna Faris and Dana Goodman as Shelley and Carrie Mae.
