Review of The Hours (2002) by John J — 08 Dec 2008
It's good. It was engrossing, and I'm not even sure I've digested it enough yet to really know why. Wonderful performances all around. (Although, I couldn't help but think of Winona Ryder in "Edward Scissorhands" at the end old lady stuff and chuckle a little...but....) I was surprised how much I liked Julianne Moore. Glass' score had some absolutely wonderful moments and then some that I really didn't like...
Great film.
