Review of The Hours (2002) by Jake W — 04 Feb 2009
I really didn't care too much for it. On level of technicals, such as directing and art direction, it stands out in a positive way. Overall, the performances are very good. Julianne Moore and Meryl Streep do outstanding with their roles, but I didn't get the hype over Kidman's performance to be completely honest.
I also didn't think that the screenplay was all that great. Things just seem to randomly happen. Kinda like Twilight except the main characters are in different time periods.
