Excellent story, excellent acting, beautiful period details. The story starts in 1941, then begins cutting to a few hours in the lives of three women. At first the women seem totally unrelated, though over the course of the movie, you begin to see their common struggles, and other ties.
They each find their own resolution, but not necessarily a happy ending.
