Review of The Hours (2002) by Phileo K — 10 Apr 2010
The three leads act brilliantly with maturity, grace, and skill. Stephen Daldry guides the events of the movie amazingly, while David Hare's screenplay (despite being somewhat depressing) is thought-provoking.
Thanks to Peter Boyle's editing, the movie smoothly glides between 1923, 1951, and 2001. Philip Glass' charming scores are brilliantly placed together with the screen.
