Even though it's not as compelling ands satisfying as the book, the movie is still full of emotional baggage and performances that will stay in your head for long. I must say that all the three main actresses are in their best shape and give stable portrayals of troubled and concerned women, who are in the midst of changing their unhappy lives.
All the segments of the movie are leveled and thus, create a rather pleasurable film.
