I had forgotten the stellar casting on this film and what a great story it is no wonder Cunningham got a Pulitzer for it. To bad the stigma of depression has only made like one step forward since the early 20's.
Even though it is now rampant in this recession and overwhelming epidemic amongst our returning troops from wars we keep fighting overseas. Yet, society still chooses to look the other way.
