One of my absolute favorite films. The way these three women's lives were woven together was artistic genious. It's rare to watch a movie where it's clear that every element---every word, gesture, and movement---was intended.
Like another one of my favs, The Piano, this movie takes you to the murky depths of unimaginable human yearning, longing, and knowing and back again. Bravo!
