This film is chock full of every type of freak and misfit you can imagine. The family the film focuses on have without doubt the worst luck in the world. Despite the often harrowing story line, you never feel down and there are plenty of funny and heart warming moments.
One of my favourite films of all time, also read the book if you get a chance.
