Review of The Hot Box (1972) by Senor C — 22 Mar 2010
I remember when this was playing @ the drive-in as a double bill w/ Hell Hole when I was a kid but there was no way I was going to see it. Marketed as a WIP The Hot Box is rather about some nurses that are kidnapped by some revolutionaries to help them w/ a medical facility and end up fighting along side the guerrillas.
Not as sleazy as it appears even though there is a fair amount of sugar boobies & violence to moderately satisfy grindhouse fans & that Charles Dierkop is in the cast should be a thrill..what? you don't know who Charles Dierkop is? why he's the original Santa Claus killer from Silent Night Deadly Night.
..'31 bucks?! Merry fucking Xmas'.
