What a let down. For once I thought the mind behind the "Twilight" franchise would come out with something good. "The Host" has a very unique concept but it's very dull and hokey.
It's got a bad script, cheesy acting and an ending that falls flat. It doesn't work as a romance flick or an adventure or even as a Sci-fi thriller. If you would like to watch a real Sci-fi thriller with a female lead, watch "The Hunger Games".
