An entertaining and intelligent movie. Like all the best science fiction (not that this ranks among the best, just quite good) it is all about ideas and questions of values. The acting is very good. The special effects are not big but they are well done and serve their purpose more than adequately.
The pacing is rather slow in parts but not inordinately so. The ending seemed a bit contrived but not so much so as to ruin the movie for me.
