Review of The Host (2006) by Zacho D — 05 Nov 2009
It's really cool too see a movie come out from a genre that was big decades ago and has seemed to fade away in the past couple decades. Now with this film, the monster movie genre is back. Cloverfield was also a monster movie and it even came out around the same time as the host, but both movies are very good, yet very different.
This one has a nice comedy element to it which I liked, along with great characters, and an unpredictible and unique yet semi tribute script that pleases. Defently one to watch. I hope they make more monster movies like this and less remakes.
