Review of The Hospital (1971) by David S — 26 Nov 2007
This hasn't held up well. Its over-written screenplay is not well served by Arthur Hiller's documentary-style direction. The lengthy monologues stand out and you suddenly become aware of just how artificial the language is.
That said, Scott is superb and much of the film is still painfully and frighteningly funny.
