Back to my middle school time, I was a big fan of traditional narratives and therefore this film fascinated me within its french-semtimental way of storytelling and captivating cinematography.
Binoche has been my all time favourite. She is sensitive, bewitching and elegant, who made this romance epic so convincing and attractive.
The uncontrollable ending part almost destoryed the entire film. When I watched it again after 6 years, it simply disappointed me.
