Review of The Horseman (2006) by Mark H — 08 May 2010
A nihilistic batter-fest in which a grieving father takes revenge on those he believed were involved with his daughter's death. Along the way he meets a hitch-hiker who gets tangled up in his mess, which leads to more battering as he tries to protect her from those now taking revenge on him for battering their friends.
No redeeming features, beyond elevating torture and battery to a more realistic presentation than is normally seen on film. 4/10.
