Review of The Horse Whisperer (1998) by Matt M — 06 Apr 2013
After a terrible horse riding accident, a young girl is left physically and emotionally scarred and her horse spooked. Her mother takes her and the horse to a horse whisperer, and they will end up starting an affair.
The characters are unappealing and even hateable the romance quite sloppy and unaccounted for; there is no real appeal to this movie apart from the dreamlike photography that redeems it and captures the feeling of cheesy paperback romantic novels.
