Without doubt one of my J.wayne favorites. The confrontations between colonel Marlowe (Wayne) and Surgeon Kendall (Holden) are excellent.
The raid was daring and the film gives good credit to this "commando" action.
Love and fun are here too in the person of the southern gal.
Great US Cavalry movie.
