Review of The Holy Mountain (1973) by Anders A — 19 Feb 2015
Symbols of great power. On a acid-like trip the inner sanctum of sublime power are being sought. Jodorowsky is slashing every controversy in the face with a knife is this highly vulgar and exploit journey.
This being the liberal year of 73, still its "too much" for the common person, suppose this is what he wanted aswell. Few other films dive into the realm of Qabalah and Tarrot-cards with this force, even though its blur and there is no supposed solution of achiving the endless mediation on the peak.
