Review of The Holy Mountain (1973) by Dionysus B — 08 Nov 2008
It's magic. A primitive eye gives his own answers to the archetypal questions (such as war, greed, religion(s), etcetcetc). But these answers, explained in images, cannot be understood by rational(ized) minds.
Plenty of thought-provoking scenes. NB: the brilliant crowd execution scene. I take off one star because there are too many animals used in this movie (I especially dislike the toads and chamelons scene).
