I showed this movie to a friend of mine who thought they liked surrealism, shortly afterwards they told me that they never wanted to see another surrealist film in their life. I don't know exactly what his problem was, but okay.

This film is Jodorowsky's masterwork, and it was funded by John Lennon who was a fan of El Topo, so this film had a bigger budget. Everything about this film is stylish, and a bit of it can probably make most naucious, but truth be told there is a lot of symbolism behind everything (and some is blatently stated at times).

This is number 4 in my top ten surrealism films, and I highly recommend it to any one who enjoys these kinds of films!
