Review of The Holiday (2006) by Carol H — 25 Dec 2012
I don't care what the critics said; I thought "The Holiday" was pretty good. It's warmhearted and refreshingly sweet; perfect for the Christmas season. The actors' chemistry works pretty well too.
One complaint I do have, however, is that the film seems to focus more on the conventional Jude Law / Cameron Diaz romance than the unconventional Kate Winslet / Jack Black romance.
