Only the most die hard rom-com enthusiasts will enjoy The Holiday, Nancy Meyers's follow-up to Something's Gotta Give (which is much much better). Cameron Diaz and Kate Winslet are charming but act SO OVER-THE-TOP. They cry obnoxiously. They talk obnoxiously. They also talk to themselves out loud in so many scenes it's annoying.
I saw The Holiday with all girls, and the entire time all I could hear from them was "Awwwwww. Oh my God that's so sweet. Jude Law is GORGEOUS!" That says enough about the movie. Guys, I don't think you'll like it.
