Review of The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug (2013) by Kingabben — 20 Apr 2014
First off, as a movie relating to the books, it's terrible; beyond awful. I mean seriously, Legolas and Tauriel (who should not even be there) literally stole the spotlight from Bilbo (keep in mind that the movie is called the HOBBIT), and further pushed a ultra-cheesy love story with Killi? I mean seriously?!
Second, as a movie itself, it is also awful. The pacing is off once more, and the special effects just make the movie look fake.
Congratulations Peter Jakcosn, aka the new George Lucas, for screwing up the prequels after making a brilliant LOTR Trilogy.
