Review of The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug (2013) by Jesse T — 01 Sep 2014
To start off with, it's an improvement over An Unexpected Journey. The Desolation of Smaug, at times, really feels like it's in a different setting, and not in Middle-Earth. Orlando Bloom is a welcome return as Legolas, though it's clearly obvious that he's aged 10 years.
Overall, it's a sold entry in the Hobbit Trilogy, and a decent offering from Peter Jackson.
