If you don't like this film your either a book purest or you think you have better mission than Peter Jackson decide for your self the movie had strong effects and great cinematography this will be one of the greats of my lifetime like star wars and Indiana Jones the film lets you visit scary exotic places in the safety of your theater's seat or today pure fantasy in the palm of your hand it's a great time to be alive even in middle earth I loved this series almost as much as lotr the elves are beautiful the dwarves are fierce and the hobbit is as brave as a giant what's not to love if you think you could do it better put up or shut up.
