Obviously some people are reviewing this film before it has been released and even thinking that it is part 3???? worse still without even seeing the first film.
Whilst I agree the book is short and I did wonder how it would all extend to a trilogy but I have to say after watching "An Unexpected Journey" my opinion changed and I cant wait for the other two films.
The film makers have taken the opportunity to tell the story of Bilbo Baggins and explore the whole background of the characters and underlying plot lines such as the dwarves finding the Heart Of The Mountain and Smaugs arrival.
So in short don't criticise the film if you haven't seen it as your opinion counts for nothing.
Yes the LOTR trilogy was a masterpiece but this trilogy is set to equal the achievement in it's own right.
