Should be called the Dissertation of Smaug. The entire movie was about people talking about the dragon, the dragon talking about the dragon, and then the movie ended with the dragon telling us about the destruction he would cause that everyone else was talking about.
I've read deeper plots on book spines. Filler episode at best.
