Review of The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug (2013) by Greg T — 26 Feb 2016

I found a lot of the action sequences to be weightless, the pacing to be worse than the first one (which I really liked), and a handful of blatant errors or flat out stupid moments dotted throughout. The Hobbit: The Desolation Of Smaug is still a fun ride though, there's enough good stuff in it to make up for the problems, but whereas the first was a giant, pleasant surprise with a real sense of adventure, this was a little disappointing.
