Review of The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug (2013) by Ryan V — 27 Jun 2016
The Extended Edition elevated this to the level of Jackson's Lord of the Rings trilogy; at least it does if you enjoyed coming along for the ride in the first act of The Hobbit. We get more time with characters who were rushed in the theatrical cut, and that is in no way a bad thing.
