Review of The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug (2013) by Kareem A — 19 Sep 2014
The second installment to the Hobbit series is nearly comparable to the Lord of the Rings. Peter Jackson finally makes you feel your back in Middle-earth again after "An unexpected Journey". As this is a adaptation from book, it has some major differences.
Such as new characters and sequences. Credit were it's due, Peter Jackson changed the movie for the better, but he could have changed it even more. The action and story is wonderful however, I did not enjoy the political side of the movie of Lake-town.
Overall, this movie should be very satisfying to Middle-Earth fanatic. (8/10).
