Review of The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug (2013) by Lukas B — 14 Dec 2014
While it does seem like it is trying to be too big, some of the effects don't work as well as others and its climax does feel rushed, The Desolation of Smaug retains the feel of The Lord of the Rings to a fault with its gorgeous cinematography, gripping action and a feeling of fantasy that is perfected by Peter Jackson's vision of Middle Earth.
